Selection Criteria

Applicants are selected based on how the proposed summer activity will make them a better teacher, how the learning experience will be applied in the classroom, and how it benefits students. Merit, as determined by the selection committee, is the sole criterion. Applications are reviewed blindly by a committee comprised of local volunteers and community members. Applicants will be notified of their grant status in early April 2006.
